Nyirahabimana Josephin is the only survivor of the slaughter: she has lost all her family. Still, her profile tells what she has been through. Some say that it is a miracle she is still alive. She now lives with Mukankara Anastasy and her young daughter. Mukankara Anastasy is 32 years old. She still bears the scars left by the enemies’ machete.
